Camera history and information

1. The hole acted like a lens, focusing and projecting light onto the wall of the dark chamber.

2. Isaac Newton and Christian Huygens perfected the understanding of optics and the process of making high quality glass lenses.

3. A glass lens, a dark box, and film.

4.  Light passes through the lens, into the camera, and exposes the film.

5. digital cameras capture the images with an electronic sensor called a ccd.

6.  auto mode the camera controls the flash on programing mode you do the flashing

7. when it's on portrait mode the camera try to blur the background.

8. To freeze motion, camera will use the highest shutter speed possible.

9.  so that the camera could focus on the image.

10. No flash. There are many cases where you may not want flash at all.

11. In most camera modes, Auto-flash is enabled by default and will automatically fire if the camera thinks it needs more light.

12. Too much light and the picture will be washed out.

13. Not enough light and the picture will be too dark.

14. The term "stop" is used in every aspect of photography to represent a relative change in the brightness of light.

The camera

Flash memory- a type of reprogrammable memory that retains information even with the power turned off.

Scale-focus- graduated scale to indicate appropriate lens-to-image plane positions for given lens-to-object plane distance.

Lens cap- cap used to keep lens free of dust when not in use.

Digital cameras- a camera that encodes an image digitally and stores it for later reproduction.

Aperture- an opening, usually circular, that limits the quantity of light that can enter an optical instrument.

Shutter- a mechanical device for opening and closing the aperture  of a camera lens to expose film or the like.

Exposure- is the amount of light allowed to fall on each unit of a photographic.

Depth of field- the closer the subject to the camera, the more shallow the depth of field.

F-stop- is a value that indicates the size of the lens aperture used during the taking of a photograph.

Focal length- the focal length determines how much magnification it provides.

Best and worst photos

This is the best picture I took you could tell he is smiling and the background is clear of objects on the way.

This is the worst photo I took you could tell he is smiling but I took the photo to late that's why he is blinking
